Stream Down Upstream

Owen Bird, a local artist and filmmaker from East Manitoba, has lived in the RM of Brokenhead for the past 50 years. With a strong connection to his rural acreage and Nutimik Lake, he’s passionate about Manitoba's film community and his international travels. Owen's artwork spans photography, silk screening, video production, and sculpture. His latest work examines the transient nature of land and time, exploring energy as a flowing force that connects all things, inviting reflection on our shared existence and the spaces we occupy.
